Engagements and planning
Group related supply work into engagements and see it on the planning screen.
An engagement is a package of work you buy from the market, for example "compressor package" or "site civil works." It ties together the estimate, the enquiries, the bids and the commitment for that package.
Create an engagement
You usually create an engagement when you start an estimate. The New Estimate dialog opens on Create a new engagement. Enter a name and save.
Documents you raise from that estimate stay on the same engagement. A change order takes its commitment's engagement automatically.
Planning
Supply Chain › Planning lists the project's estimates with their values. Use it to see what you plan to buy and what each package is worth.
Values show per currency. A package priced partly in USD shows both totals, for example $129,789 US$54,900.
