Privacy for guests
Documents sent outside the team often go to several people at several companies. Constecca shows guests only what they need to know who a document is for, and never another person's email address.
What a guest sees on a transmittal
On the guest pages, a transmittal shows the company it is addressed to (To) and the person it is for (Attention). It does not list the other people it was sent to, and it never shows an email address.
| Detail | Shown to guests |
|---|---|
| Company the transmittal is addressed to | Yes |
| Name of the Attention contact | Yes |
| Other people it was sent to | No |
| Email addresses | No |
| Notes by the team or other recipients | No |
The transmittal email a guest receives can name the companies it was issued to. It never lists other people's email addresses.
What a guest sees on an enquiry
A bidder sees the enquiry, the files issued with it, and their own bid. Questions they ask under Questions to the buyer are read only by them and the buyer. Other bidders never see them. The buyer's replies in that thread are read by every bidder on the enquiry.
What a guest can never see
- Other suppliers' bids.
- The team's estimates and their prices.
- The team's notes on a document, and notes written by other guests.
- Documents that were not shared with them.
